A Rifstonian Deadlift Day

I believe Rif refers to this as a speed lift day. A down week in terms of weight but a heck of a workout and I feel strong

Warm-up
135/2x1
185/2x1
225/2x1
275/2x1

Work Sets
315/1x12 with 30 seconds rest between

I have to say this felt easy, smooth and strong. I planned on doing 10 sets and did 12 and could have done 15 but decided to stop short and strong.

Pull-ups
8, 7, 6, 5

Running this evening...Trail run

Yes, I like this day. I should do this every 4th week or so?

That is a nice workout Joe. I am working on my deadlifts, and I will have to try this workout. Thanks for the post!

you are welcome Pete. A great move and a personal favorite. This was my down week workout (just for a perspective) and comes from Rif via Westside Barbell and Louie SImmons

joe, yes, but the weight can move up a bit as your top end moves up. still should always feel fast with short rest periods.

That is good to know. ;-)
